Sweet T

When my mom was here after Teagan was born, she gave her the nickname "Sweet T," which is such an apt name for my sweet little girl. I'm not going to write much here. I'll just let the pictures, from an impromptu photo session the other day, speak for themselves.
Dad, this next face reminds me of you. How many times did I see this same exact expression when I was a wayward teenager?
I needed to include the requisite spit bubble shot. So adorable!
Everyday, Teagan grows more and more cute. And, her resemblance to my sister, Elizabeth, grows even more striking--to me at least--with each passing day. I think it's the eyes, but Teagan reminds me of Liz as a baby and now almost every time I look at her. Love it!

On a totally unrelated note, if you haven't seen the movie "August Rush," you should asap--it's available on video now. It was a preview before one of the few movies David and I saw in the theater after Kieran was born, and I have wanted to see it ever since, but missed it in the theater. (Having a one year old will do that to you!) Anyway, "August Rush" is really wonderful. So beautiful. Maybe it's a mom thing, but I really think it's one of the best movies I've seen in a while. The movie "Once" is a close second for favorites I've recently seen. Maybe it's the musical component in both of them, but really, it's one of those movies I want to own to share with everyone, or at least make David watch when we have one of our rare movie nights. (It's only fair. I think I've seen "Donnie Darko" and "Contact" more times than I can count at this point in time...)

(And, yes, Mom, "August Rush" is one of those "if you watch it and don't like it, I promise I will never recommend another movie to you ever again" movies. It's also appropriate for the "little girls.")

Hi!

Thanks for the comment you left on my blog. I replied here. Definitely check out my response, as I pointed you to a post I did on a vegan visitor guide to DC. That'd be great for your upcoming trip.

Looks like we're both ex-Hokies. You actually look somewhat familiar. I wonder if we were there at the same time.

I'm originally from the DC area.

Feel free to send me an email if you'd rather talk there (more private then spilling our life stories on blogs). :)

I look forward to talking with you more. Have a great trip!

I'm glad you liked Java Green. I love that place!

My best friend lives in Manassas, so I know about the trek from Prince William County. I loved living in Arlington...nice and close.
